I had the oil and filter changed today. I checked the oil level at home after the engine cooled for two hours. It measured almost a quart above the full mark on the dip stick. This is not correct. I checked the invoice and it said 5.5 quarts were installed. It also said it was synthetic blend. I think regular 5w30 Quaker State oil was used. I checked the filter for leaks and it had fresh oil on it. I wiped off the oil, the filter was tight and I will check to see if it is leaking later.
Joe, thank you for letting us know your concerns! We contacted Joe after seeing this review and asked him to stop by so we can inspect and correct anything wrong. There was no leak and the oil was indeed a little past the full mark, about a half quart. We gladly corrected the level and addressed the issue with the technician to be sure this doesn't happen. Several months ago we switched from conventional oil to synthetic blend for use in our standard oil changes. We offer either synthetic blend or a premium full synthetic for our typical oil choices.
